
The 2025 Laureus World Sports Awards will bring some of the most legendary figures in sport to the capital of Spain. The iconic Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid will host the Awards for the second consecutive year.
The 2025 edition on April 21st marks the 25th anniversary of the event and will celebrate the greatest achievements from last year with a stellar line-up of athletes attending the prestigious event.
One of the biggest stars in attendance will be Novak Djokovic. The 24-time Grand Slam winner and five-time Laureus World Sportsman of the year, including last year, expressed his excitement about returning to Madrid for the event: “I have cherished memories of picking up my fifth Laureus in Madrid last year and am privileged to be able to attend again. The Awards give us athletes the rare opportunity to not only meet up and share our experiences, but to celebrate the mission of Laureus […] to use sport to change the world,” he said, according to Laureus.
