
LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty redshirt sophomore Chase Robinson has been named to the Conference USA Men’s Tennis All-Academic team for the second straight season, the conference announced on Friday.
Robinson, a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete, carries a 3.9 Cumulative GPA in his intended major of business administration. The honor is his second in as many years, he also made the team with a 3.9 GPA last season.
The Spartanburg, S.C., native has played in every match this spring showcasing an 8-8 singles record. Robinson currently owns a three-match winning streak and is 5-3 playing in the No. 5 singles position.
Nominees for the CUSA All-Academic team must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) and have participated in 75 percent of scheduled matches. Candidates should be at least a sophomore class standing, but redshirt freshmen are eligible if they have completed enough credits.

Robinson and the Flames wrap up the spring regular season this weekend before serving as the host site of the 2025 CUSA Tennis Championships from April 16-20. Liberty takes on Delaware (12-6) on Friday at 3 p.m. and welcome VCU (9-9) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
