An Israel Police Special Patrol officer was lightly wounded after a car rammed into him during operations carried out in Dhahiriya in the West Bank, Police said on Monday.
While operating in the area, the forces identified a car they suspected to be stolen and signified to the driver that he should stop. However, the driver did not halt the vehicle and rammed into the police officer.
Hunt for vehicle
A hunt had ensued for the vehicle, and roadblocks had been erected in the area.
Earlier on Monday, the military said it was reviewing the details of a ramming incident that had occurred in the area.
