Kenyans Geoffrey Kamworor and Jackline Cherono claimed the men’s and women’s titles at the 2025 Rotterdam Marathon on Sunday, April 13.
Kamworor, 32, secured the men’s title with ease, crossing the finish line in 2:04:33, ahead of Ethiopians Chala Regasa (2:05:06) and Chimdessa Debele (2:05:26).
In the women’s elite race, Cherono, 26, was even more emphatic. She clocked 2:21:15, exactly a minute clear of Aminet Ahmed of Ethiopia who edged out compatriot Azmera Gebru for second place.
