It’s been almost a year since the best badminton players in North, South and Central America, along with the Caribbean, went head-to-head at a tournament of their own. Thankfully, the wait is over. The time has come to crown continental champions once more at the XXVIII Pan Am Individual Championships 2025 in Lima, Peru from 9-12 April.
Featuring 124 of the region’s best badminton players, the tournament will set the tone for the new Olympic cycle, with the Olympic Games LA28 fast approaching on the horizon.
It will also give players a chance to familiarize themselves with the Peruvian capital ahead of the 2027 Pan American Games, which are set to return to the city after their first visit only eight years prior.
Action will take place across all five Olympic events – men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles – with the winner of each event crowned continental champion.
With a healthy amount of world ranking points on the line, and plenty of continental pride at stake, expect nothing short of pure excitement, as the region’s best players go head-to-head in the world’s fastest racket sport.
