(March 29, 2025) – The Stonehill College men’s tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Northeast Conference (NEC) opponent Le Moyne College at the Lakeville Athletic Club Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Skyhawks fell to 6-9 overall and 1-3 in conference play, while the Dolphins improved to 6-8 overall and 4-1 against conference opponents.

- First-year duo Nicolas Arredondo and Guillermo Bennaton picked up their seventh win of the season as a double’s combination.
- Junior Mark Kröll secured his seventh singles win of the year, tying with Arredondo for the second-most wins on the season.
- Postgrad Bernardo Teixeira, freshman Jacob Maravillas, junior Adrian Daniel, and senior Peter Hatton led the Dolphins as double-winners on the day.

How It Happened
- Daniel and Hatton edged out Kröll and senior Jacob Wilhelm Krefting 7-6 (7-5) in the opening match of doubles competition.
- Arredondo and Bennaton followed at No. 2 doubles with a 6-2 victory over Bortolaso and freshman Luke Hoyland to force a deciding No. 3 doubles matchup.
- Teixeira and Maravillas clinched the doubles point for Le Moyne with a 6-4 triumph over sophomore Jacob Borch-Nielsen and senior Guillaume Duhil de Bénazé.
- Hatton, Daniel, and Teixeira capped off their double wins, sweeping the first three courts of singles competition.
- Kröll picked up the lone singles victory for the Skyhawks with a 7-5, 7-6 (8-6) win over Hoyland on the No. 4 singles court.
- Verma and Bortolaso secured the Dolphins’ match victory with respective victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles over sophomore Alexis Chastang and junior Mateo Mallen.
