
France’s Eric Perrot powered to an impressive win in the men’s 20km individual event at the 2025 IBU Biathlon World Championships on Wednesday (19 February).
The Frenchman secured his third medal of the competition and second gold in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, as he finished almost a minute clear at the top with just one shooting error and a time of 47:58.1.
Italy’s Giacomel Tommasso followed in silver with an almost identical shooting record and 52.4 seconds behind, while it was Perrot’s teammate Quentin Fillon Maillet rounding off the podium 1:59.5 behind the eventual champion.
